The history of the clinical imaging with photon-counting CT has begun on June 16th 2020. The first clinical examination ever was made at the University Hospital Pilsen, Czechia, using the clinical prototype of the second generation Somatom Count plus. The first patient was a follow-up of the idiopatic pulmonary fibrosis.
